Gold Denim Tank

I used two different yarns to create this piece. I had visited the Seaport Yarn shop some time ago and fell in love with the Elsebeth Lavold yarn, which is 65% wool and 35% silk. The hank I purchased was a Sandstone color, although it resembles a deep gold. When you look at the yarn it appears slubbed and irregular, but once I started crocheting... it was smooth and consistent. The other yarn was purchased at Knit-a-way, like the Seaport Yarn shop it has fine yarns.. and I opted for Cascade Yarns, which is 85% Peruvian Pima Cotton and 15% Silk. I decided to use the two yarns once I realized that I hadn't purchased enough... but once the piece was completed it turned out to be a good yarn combo .
