Wild Oak Cardigan

This project is working up faster than I ex
pected... I created the cardigan using Lambs Pride yarn in Wild Oak and did three pieces in single crochet stitches with an E hook. The pieces consist of the back, left front and right front panels. This is my first time working with Lambs Pride blended yarn, which is 85% soft wool and 15% Mohair, and must say it has great stitch definition and a smooth touch, I read somewhere that this yarn produces a garment of subtle loft and softness. Right now the project is awaiting the next step... the sleeves, and then the collar and closure... I am a tad bit concerned b/c I have 3 skeins left (each skein is about 190 yds)... 2 of them are Roasted Coffee colors... which I was hoping to use as a trim.. I am going back to the drawing board and cross my fingers and hope that I can finish the cardigan with the remaining skeins... stay tuned....

Thanks so much for your comment! Gurl, I wish we could get together so you could teach me how to read those patterns. Enjoyed visiting your blog, I especially liked seeing all the different creative ways your pics are displayed. Keep that hook flyin'!

Hey Girl, nice work! I like the coat! I got a few new pics up on my Blog. I'm just sitting here, bored at work. I'd rather be crocheting! Take Care~

I love your work! Do you have a favorite sweater pattern that is simple to make?
