Nutmeg Cardigan - Finished

Ooook... I finally finished this project..wooohoo. What inspired me to do this project was a design created by Darla Sims, whose Ripped Jeans Jacket was featured in Crochet! January 2006 magazine. Her design helped me with the construction and from there I just tweaked it to suit my taste, like doing simple line embroidery on the back. At some point it started looking too masculine and I had to fine tune it, so I tried my hand at crocheting a belt on and fed a foundation chain through it... sort of like a pull string, which is good b/c it can be pulled tighter around the waist. Also, I decided to add some more light blue by doing a couple of rows on the edges of the sleeves. Its actually super light due to the double crochet stitches and works well with jeans and a button up blouse. This project was worked up using Caron 1 pound yarn in Nutmeg and Caron Simply Soft Country Light Blue yarn. Finished Size: 42"/Medium
