Cool Garnet Capelet & Tote

A sassy capelet done in garnet and black w/ matching tote...the sassy capelet can be drapped easily over your coat for an added touch of style or go chic and toss it over t-shirt and jeans...I read an article written by Nilda Mesa in Interweave Knits/Crochet that "in the 1920s in northern Spain with its bone-chilling damp, cold winters, women wore capelets over their coats to help keep the chill air off their shoulders. The capelets were attractive and practical and kept the busy women warm without constraining their movement...." what ya know.

Verdigris Boucle Hat & Scarf Set

Boucle is a fabric that has a looped, knotted surface and is often used in sportswear and coats. Made from wool, rayon, silk, cotton, linen, and/or blends. The name is French for "buckled" or "ringed" and the drawn out ringed, looped yarn is used to give its kinky appearance . This verdigris set is a combination of olive, sage, brown and coral and trimmed with mohair...its soooo soft and snugs the head and neck with care.

Kaleidoscope Scalloped Skully & Scarf

Scalloped Skully & Scarf to keep you in style for the Winter....this started off simple... a basic scarf...but an hour later and nearly completed...I took a break from my crocheting rendezvous’ and sifted through my magazines...just looking at various designs to spark some energy back into me....while zipping through Family Circle/Easy Crochet.. a Bohemian design (a Rosette Cap featuring a scalloped brim) spoke to me..."tryyy meeeee"....returned to my rendezvous' and added the scalloped trim and decided... go ahead and do a skully...finito!!!
