I'm in heaven...

In pursuit of yarn for a particular project... I came across this batch for just $10.00... yahoooowee... its Bernat Solo - Water... you know what I'm thinking...shrugggggg... I am just so shrug addicted right now... but thought it was a great price... I love it when I come across a good sale.

Addition to the Ennovy Collection

Pursuant to a customer's request... this handbag was done in a deep red boucle yarn (still a work in progress)... I was a little heavy handed on the contrasting so it looks like candy apple red.. but thought I would put it on the board to get a better picture of what else I need to do to accentuate the positive... I took a peak at the red handbag on MyWeddingFavor site (they have cute wedding stuff if you're in the process of planning a wedding) and think I got an idea or two... so back to the drawing board...

Bohemian Venture

This project (still in the works) was inspired from a pic I saw in Knit n Style Spring & Summer 2006 issue.. the issue featured a Mitered Abstract crop top and I translated it into a crochet crop cardigan (don't ask me how to differentiate between a shrug and crop cardi... don't even think about it... just like the sound of it)... moving right along... so i selected three colors of leftover yarn, which are olive-thyme-fuschia.... instead of the mitered design... I staggered the colors along the back.... now for the bohemian aspect of this piece... its said somewhere... can't remember right now... that the bohemian color wheel consists of jewel tones of purple, green, deep red, turquoise and Fuschia... so with that... I thought bohemian venture was appropriate.
