Oasis Halter Top

Here is a better pic of the top... although a lil blurry... but at least its not headless....lol

First, pardon the headless shot... face and hair is in a Madea mode...lol. This project was worked up with Aunt Lydia's Crochet Threads.. Oasis (variegated thread) and brown thread. The halter top was done in the round switching up the threads creating bands. Total measurement is 18" long and 30-1/2" circumference, which offers a snug fit. As for the tie end, I opted for a fine sage colored ribbon and weaved it through the top of the halter to insure that it doesn't break... which is the last thing I need to happen...lol. I really like the eclectic style of this top and the ease of it and its perfect for the summer. Well on to the next project...

Thank you... and truly appreciate you encouraging me to write a pattern... maybe.. I should pull out the half-written pattern for the Lil Black Tank, which the Oasis Halter Top is similar to.

Awesome Sheila.

You don't need to worry about following patterns, only writing them.

Those arms are looking good. You must be hoisting those weights!

Thanks so much.

Madelyn... after hearing about that 100 mile stunt you did... I increased the weight lifting...lol

That's a great shot. The top fits you perfectly. Keep on with the weights cause it's workimg.

I've pumped up my workouts. I lost some definition this winter and my triceps are a bit flabby, LOL. I want to be able to wear some of the tops I made this summer.
