Simplicity 9107 w/ New Look 6150

Comfortable knit pants paired with matching cardigan. The pants are styled without pockets or belt loops giving a sleek wide-leg pants a sophisticated silhouette. This makes it perfect to wear to the office. As for the cardigan I would consider it a scoop neck relaxed cardigan, in that its not your standard form fitting cardi, it provides a breezy fit, but makes a great classic wardrobe essential The enjoyable factor about this ensemble is that I was able to take an activewear pattern and make it work for the office.

Patterns: Simplicity 9107 (pants) & New Look 6150 (Cardigan)
Fabric: Lightweight grey pinstripe knit
Notions: 1" stretchRite non-roll elastic (waistband) and 1" black grosgrain ribbon (hem)
Here is the first ensemble.
What remains of my June Capsule Collection is a top and hopefully I will make it to the fabric store this weekend.
