Enjoyed another glorious morning outside, watched DH & Bro tend to the lawn, but it looks like DH is doing more playing than working... don't ja think...lol
The second time with B4985 was more time consuming than the first. However, I did notice one thing that I didn't do the first time and made some changes as I went along.
Not sure how I let that slip by, but I forgot to finish the edges on the front facings the first time. I used the zigzag stitch to finish the front facing edges, which is the first time I'm using that stitch on my new machine.
Used white interfacing and didn't have to worry about bleeding through. I'm still wondering how that happened with the first blouse.
Instead of baste stitching the raw edges of the collar band to the neck edge I cut very thin strips of HeatnBond, ironed and then final stiched collar band to the neck edge.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
