Eternity Scarves

With New York temperatures hoovering at 27 degrees, then add the wind it feels like 19 degrees, especially when I exit the train station, which is a mere block from the Hudson River. I can often be found sporting one of my personally-made scarf & hat sets, but as of late a wave of new scarves have surfaced, which would make a great accessory to any outfit and add a lil spice to mine.
These eternity scarves come in a variety of textures and colors. Basically it is one big circle of material that you can wrap as little or as much as you like. They are also called “circle” scarves… whatever the name I must have one.

Look-a-here this one is used as a head wrap, isn't it purrrrty.

and what about this knitted cabley goodness....

Also, if one is adventurous, what about making one that can be used in 12 different ways...

So this weekend I will check my fabric and/or yarn stash and see what I can drum up to add a lil spice to my outerwear.

What do you think about the eternity scarves?

Would you buy one?

What about sewing one and what fabric would you use?

Lastly what about knitting or crocheting one?

I like it and yes I would buy one. Can't say that I would sew one, but crocheting would be my first choice for making my own.

What about a mobius? They can be knit as long as you like. If you do a search on Ravelry you find several. I like it, but I'm not adding anything else to my queue. Honest.

Those look really cool. I would sew one and I have a lot of the knit fabric I used to make the Vogue 2989 jacket, I think that would be nice.

I like them! I would sew one with a light wt. knit that draped really well.

I knit nearly a dozen Moebius scarves recently. I just couldn't stop as they were so soothing to knit. And such fun to wear!

I like them and I was considering one myself. I think I would "sew" one, only because it's fast. I'd use a nice knit with good drape.

These are great! I love them. I'm not sure if I'd buy one, but I would like to make one. I think they'd be great knitted or crocheted. But wait! There are some fantastic materials to use too. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
