Your pants look great. I have one question in what issue of Threads Magazine can I find information on elastic contour waistband?CarlaF-in Atlanta
Hi Carla, Thank You. The Elastic contour waistband method can be found in Threads Issue 138
Awesome as usual.
Good job! It looks great on you....
Very nice !!! Some people can't help it, they just HAVE class. I love the fabric and again the versitility of the pattern. I love that Butterick allows for comments and reviews.
You look FANTASTIC!! The suit is beautiful, and I like the haircut too.
Awesome suit. I'm so proud of you, you did pants in a big way, zipper, waistband the whole nine yards. Now I bet you wondering what you were so afraid of. Did you use a pattern for the vest you're wearing in the picture on your blog.
Thank you. Of course, it couldn't have been done without all of your encouragement and inspriation. So, as the saying goes the headache was worth it in the end. I would love to do another one incorporating more techniques, especially for the jacket. I would like to try my hand at doing a back stay and pockets. @ Tanya - Yes, I did the vest using a pattern from Knit simple called the sleeveless top.Actually, I'm working on another one for my daughter. Finally, I'm nearing the finishing line, b/c this project has been on needles far too long...lol
As usual great job and you look great! The pants & jacket look nice together as a suit. Thanks for the tip on the pants.
I have a long way to go before trying something like that but I think before next winter I could make one.
Ok, I've been absent from the blog community for awhile now. I love your new jacket and pants. They look great .... and your hair! Very nice!
That is a wonderful suit. I really like it.
Wao, you got a nice combo there. The pant fits so well...and I love your fabric choice. Fabulous as usual
Fantastic as usual!
