Pattern Weights

I wish I could take credit for this fantastic idea for these adorable pattern weights, but the all the credit goes to Ms. Faye who posted about them and knew I just had to do it too. Then I saw Ms. Omega's post and hot foot it to Sav-a-thon for ribbons.
I had the washers and large bolt nuts for some time and primarily used them with all their metal glory, but now they are down-right prettified…lol Of course, pattern weights will not replace pins, but there are times when you just want to anchor 2 pieces of fabric while cutting. I also use them as a second set of hands for holding down slippery fabric while ironing or holding open pages of a book.

For now they will hold court on my shelf until I can find a cute basket for them.

I love your weights! Aren't they just the greatest. Also I like your additional ideas for their use. They are also good to using while tracing patterns, I've had problems with the paper shifting, I'll be using mine for that tomorrow.

That's a great idea! I love it. I'm going to make some for myself for cutting.
