Family Sewing

I had my sewing all planned this weekend and was totally hyped after wearing New Look 6863 this past Friday. The dress was perfect for the weather and boy-O-boy, comments were abound...lol

I was totally ready for another dress and planned to make Simplicity 2552 and also squeeze in a blouse with Butterick 4549. Ummmmm Nope, it turned into a family sewing bonanza. As of this morning, I've completed a tunic for dd, finishing touches on a summer dress for mom, shorts for dh, shorts for bro finishing touches on shorts for dad and dd ended up with 2 pairs of shorts from scrap fabric. So where does that leave me, little time for me sewing :<
The good thing is all the projects were constructed in 2 hours or less.

Tunic for daughter: Simplicity 9505 (is actually sleepwear, but hey anything works). I used a sheer printed polyester and brown gross grain ribbon for the straps. She plans to wear it with capris.
ETA:

For Mom: Simplicity 2724 OOP (has now been renamed Misses Dresses Project Runway Collection) - 100% cotton in yellow with mini flowers. A cute dress to wear around the house and yard.

For Dad: Simplicity 4849 OOP - 100% cotton black/beige plaid - Perfect for lounging and telling his long-winded childhood stories.

For Bro & DH: Simplicity 4639 (shorts I made for them last year): 100% cotton multi color plaid. The poor pattern has tape all over it, the pattern has been used at least a dozen or more times - no joking.

The men folk had a special request, that their shorts must have pockets... If I didn't have to do pockets the garments would've been sewn quicker.

DH 100% cotton navy blue/white (didn't get a chance to take a pic, he had them on and was out the door...lol) to repair the facade on the roof overhang... the nerve.

The shorts for dd: Simplicity 9505 again and used scraps from the fabric I used for making the shorts for the men folk. This pattern is one piece and super quick... serged all seams and stretch stitched the elastic waist band.

Stopped at Walmart to pick up some more plaid fabric for the men folk... a few more of these and I will be talking in tongues of plaid....lol

Thank you. Family had me under pressure. So much so that after finishing dh shorts, he pulled out a pair of shorts that are a repeat of the ones I just made - minus pockets...lol

D bro was harassing me to finish his to wear to Alantic City.

DD initially wanted a cover up for the beach, then decided she wasn't going, but needed a blouse for today.

For Ma & pops, they are retired and could use a few lounge garments.
