1st Spring Month of Top w/ New Look 6915

New Look 6915: Misses' Tunic or Mini Dress and Top

Pattern Sizing: 8-18

Fabric Used:  Abstract Sheer Polyester

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? It was easy to follow in that I barely looked at the instructions.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked the cowl neck detail and figured it was the perfect pattern for sheer fabric.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:  I made bias strips from the fashion fabric to encase the neckline edges.

Would you sew it again? I will definitely sew it again.

Would you recommend it to others? If one is looking for a summer garment that flatters every shape and versatile then this cowl neck tunic is perfect.

Conclusion:  Wore it today, which was perfect for the summer-like temperature.

This is another one of those patterns I would never have thought to buy until I see it made up. It looks fantastic and I really like the print.

Wow, I like the top so much better on you than how it is made up on the pattern envelope. Great job!

Thank you.

I cut a size 10 according to my bust measurement and it fits perfectly, although initially, I thought it would be too big.

Today, I saw a young lady with a cowl neck tunic in knit and now I want a knit one :)

Sheila - you have such a great sense of pattern and color. That's what makes this simple top work so well besides the fact that it is just plain pretty!
