I can't recall where I purchased the fabric and only know that the fabric is a medium-weight slinky knit in a denim blue. As usual, I serged all the seams and again used the wooly nylon... I love that thread. I will say that it can be a pain to thread the needle since the threads tend to separate. I keep a stick of Elmer Glue handy and just swipe thread across the top and give it a twist between my fingers and presto all is right again...lol
I like to think of this as a wrap sweater than a wrap blouse... it hugs my body and feels so good against my skin and it was perfect for New York's crisp temps this morning paired it with navy slacks and a pashmina shawl and off to work I went. My collar appears askew and spent a good amount of time trying to right what I thought was a wrong, only to realize that in pulling the ties tight around my waist it appears to control the collar like a puppet on a string.... but it didn't keep me from my Shades of Blue though...lol
My favorite spot to people watch until the birds chase me away...lol
Signing off with a Birthday card I made over the weekend.... until then have a Fabulous Week.

Gorgeous! That looks sooo good on you!
I love the idea of a wrap top/sweater. Personally I don't look great in a wrap dress, but could wear a top like this with a pencil skirt or pants to better balance the shape. Thanks for being inspiring.
It looks amazing on you. I wanna be wrapped by that too!
Gorgeous top.

Hello Sheila,
I'm a little confused. Is this top the bodice of B5309 with the collar of B5166? B5166 is actually quite similar with the wrap design and sleeves added. At any rate it came out beautifully.
Wow, I love your top. It turned out great, and now I want to go turn a wrap dress into a shirt!
Gorgeous - beautiful fabric and it looks fantastic on you.
