Do you Have

a Favorite Garment that you've made?  Is it a favorite dress, top or other garment that is so comfortable and looks good on you that you wish you had several of them?  ... Do tell.

My favorite dress is Butterick 4976 (Cheetah B), which I made back in 2009, here, here & here.  It's so comfortable due to the knit factor, machine washability and versatility.  I asked my dd to take a quick pic, and she asked me why -  you made that a while ago.   My response was it feels good to make something and know that its still comfortable and looks goods a year or more later.

There are other garments that I've sewn and really like, but this dress is my favorite.  Now if I could just finish that Butterick 5147 jacket, because I have the perfect fabric for another B4976.

Yes I do have a favourite pattern it's NL6429. I have made it 6 times aleady, 3 for me, 1 for my sister and 2 for for my friends. It's also a knit pattern very flattering and easy. I really love it

I can see why this is a favourite for you. I have several favourites too, but I love my black ponte pencil skirt. It fits well, is easy care and generous to my weight fluctuations.

Your dress looks fabulous, my favorite is probably several tops made from Simplicity 4076. I need to make a few new ones, now that I think about it.

Ican't name a favorite pattern right now as I haven't sewn for quite some time. That's a great dress and photo though. I would have that dress in navy, gray, black and perhaps a small polka-dot. Very nice.

The dress looks really beautiful. You're so right. It has be good not only after finishing, but also years later.
Also comfortable to wear is something I am seeking for my design right now.

I made a blouse with Simplicity 2599 last May in a cheap pink silk dupioni from Joann's. I probably wear it once a week. I love it.

They're all very nice. I like the one on this page--looks very sophisticated. I'm not a seamstress but I really admire your talent.

You never get tired of good clothes that fit and flatter like that. The dress is just a great shape on you and I can see how it'd look good on many body types.

I haven't made any clothing yet but I'm working my way there.

Oh Sheila, yes I do and it would be the Vogue dress pattern 1179! Unfortunately, I've only made it twice. Once as a dress in turquoise w/ white polka dots and as a brown top. Both were knits, but I will definitely be making more. It's soooo comfortable!!

Thank you so much for wishing me congratulations on my pregnancy. I will try to get some baby bump pictures posted in the next week or so.

KS 3408 is my hands-down favorite, although I also made a number of those B4976 dresses! I really want to get back to sewing again, I have been out of the routine for awhile now.

What a great dress! I often wonder about the clothing other people make - do they stand the test of time, what really gets worn, etc.

My favorite garment is a pair of black-on-black pin striped Simplicity 2700 pants which fit great and get worn weekly. My other project that has withstood the test of time is a bag I made for my yoga mat - for the last 3 years I've used it 3x a week to schlepp my mat and other junk to class. I made it out of a sturdy home dec fabric and it has held up remarkably well.

My favorite garment is Butterick 5047. I lengthened the pattern and made it in denim. I plan to make it in a softer fabric some day.

Lately when I make soemthing I love, I make a second one straight away. So I go through series of 'currently' favorite. At the moment it is the Ottobre Katherine top with the ruffles on the sleeve.

That's a hard one, I love my butterick jacket and wear it often.

Okay, yours look so good I tried to put one in my wishlist at PR and are they OOP? The Butterick website didn't have it either. Pooh!

Yep I can see why it is your favourite - I'm not sure my boobs could carry this off.
