Casual Friday & Crochet

Its.............. TGIFriiiiiiiiiiiday, which means casual Friday for a lot of people.  New York temps today is a mere 36 degrees.... yes, Baby Its Cold Out There.  What better garment to layer with than a crochet cardigan.  I have made several crochet cardigans for the winter and they have served me well.    The pictured cardigan was made back in November and perfect for pants or skirt and snuggly warm.

The Cardigan is paired with Marisa Modal Pants and  Drape Front Top, perfect for a casual friday

Here is a collage of my Fall/Winter Crochet garments.  With the continued low temps... is it possible to bump out one more....

I would say that you definitely have time...it's still gonna be cold next week and probably won't be spring like until late April...so go for it!

Your crochet items are beautiful. I am so envious of individuals like you that can crochet. I am just all thumbs and fingers.

You rocked it this winter, I can't believe how many sweaters you made, I should switch back to crocheting, knitting takes me forever.

I am so impressed by your crocheting. Seriously. I covet every piece you made F/W 2010, especially the collared sweaters. Sigh.

Beautiful collections. I guess you can still go for one more. Is still very cold here and I am also sewing a cardigan for me, not sure if the summer will ever come

You're all set for cold weather, that's for sure. I'd be happy to finish ONE cardigan, at this point!

I have just caught up with your last couple of posts and have to say, I love your wardrobe. Great taste and you always look so sharp. But the crocheting is killing me. How do you do it so fast? Really impressive.

Thank you.

@Linda, you can do it. Crochet Made Easy dvd is a great tutorial.

@Tanya, so agree with you that knitting takes a while.

@Barbara, I commute 3 hours daily to/from work which allows me to get a lot of crocheting done.
