Butterick 5606 Street Scene

Happy Tuesday All,

I wore one of my B5606 today and Loooooove it.  Its simple, lightweight & super comfortable.  Its the type of dress that says wear me...  its hot, humid and the next best thing to walking around in your birthday suit.... lol

Ok.. I went too far, but the dress is super comfortable.  I wore a fitted slip underneath and paired it with a Lt. grey blazer.  Actually the temp. in New York today is hoovering around 81 with the humidity @ 51%... which makes for a comfortable day.

I really want to make the dress with the ties attached and last night pulled out the double sided black fabric I have, only to realize that I didn't have enough.  Sifted through my other fabric bins and that was about the only double sided fabric I have.  Soooo I'm thinking a quick trip to Fulton Fabrics may be required...   ^.^

Until then have a Great Week.

Perfect on a hot day! I think a version in black could be a perfect dress-it-up or dress-it-down wardrobe staple!

Lovely, lovely dress/outfit!! Who takes your pictures when you're out and about?? You have a great photographer!!! Also, are those shoes Navy?? If so, how did you manage find an awesome pair of navy pumps like that? Navy shoes are the hardest thing to find now a days!!
