Simple Crochet

I'd received a request to make a baby sweater back in October and finally received pics of lil Jada wearing it.

Simple Crochet for Cherished Babies:  "Beginners will have no problem crocheting these classic designs for babies. Appealing color photo provides inspiration, while using basics supplies, with all the needed instructions and invaluable tips. The projects range from hooded jacket, winter cable sweater, footed-pants, overalls, booties, to a cuddly lamb, all perfect for keeping little ones warm and cozy ."

I had the perfect yarn for the Dusty Rose Sweater" featured on the cover... Pink Carnation Serendipity Tweed (60% Cotton, 40% Wool; 210/yds) that I'd purchased a few years ago from Seaport Yarns .

Trusty ball winder always waiting & ready

Cute lil cupcake ready to be crocheted

The yarn was a dream to crochet

Completed and waiting for a lil embellishing.

I did a size: 6-9 months and thankful that I didn't do a newborn size.  The yarn was a dream to work with.

Even did a matching hat... too cute I must say.

Pic of  Jada @ 3 months old & snug as a bug.... Adorable..

So stinking precious! (And the sweater isn't bad, either.) That makes me want to try some sweaters for a little baby I know....

Thank you Sister. Baby sweaters are a great source of crocheting or knitting, cute & instant gratification.
