Leaf Sweater

The Unknown Project became a Sweater (See 11/25/06 post) and it took 8 days to complete. I worked this up in the round using shell stitching, single crochet, double crochet somewhere in there and cables on the bottom of the sleeves... (let say sheilaz' cablez)... I haven't quite got it down yet. It fits ok and I am wearing a fitted tank under it.. to avoid flashing anyone....hehe. I must admit that there are problems with this sweater: I need another skein to lengthen the sleeves (although the sleeves appear normal, I have my arms intentionally askew to mask the shortness of the sleeves) and I need to do a lil more neck shaping, and lastly experiencing pooling under the arms. I did learn some things from doing mindless crocheting... Avoid It!!!

I think it looks great! I can't see the little things that bother you. I love all the different stitch details in it.

I do like the ease with which crochet allows for a lacy look. Much easier than knit. I am loving the green color of this top. I think the sleeves look great! just stand like that wherever you go!

Thanks dear bloggers for your compliments... now I need to go back to the yarn store and hope there is at least a skein left to make this project complete.. I'm anxious to wear it and thinking Christmas day would be perfect... I may just end up with some pinch marks... my neices...have a habit of pinching me when I am wearing one of my crochet wearables followed with a comment... WHY didn't you make me one!!!
