Finally.... a Crochet Sock




































I did it..!!! I was so envious of all the sock hoopla going on in Crochet & Knit Blogisphere, that I had to try it. The pattern is from Crochet Today Dec '06 issue (Snow Day Socks). Instead of using a thin yarn, I opted to work it up in Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn.. and then realized that I needed to save the remainder for the second one.. (I only had 3 balls of the Landscape Sugar 'n Cream yarn) and to make one sock took a ball and a half, I also altered the leg part so that could be the reason I used a lot of yarn... so I found a ball of Mainstay dk taupe yarn and finished it up. I am sooooo ecstatic about making A Sock...woohoooo!!... now on to the second one. Ohh and pardon the ashy/hairy leg...ugggh.

Thanks ladies... I really enjoyed it and anxious to start the second one... the sock is not made for wearing with shoes, b/c its thick, but perfect for wearing around the house, and once I complete the pair.. I will definitely get the appropriate yarn.. so I can sport them with my penny loafers.

As always, your designs are awesome. I think you should really think about sending something to one of those crochet magazines. Everyone in the world should know how talented you are.
