Final touches - I crocheted the sleeves and the bottom of the tee to make it a lil longer and to prevent it from curling, this is a definite repeat.... Thanks Adrienne.
I really love this Tee. Mom stopped by and although she is almost blind she wanted to see the skirt I was telling her about. She got really close and could see your projects. "Now that little girl sews with her head and heart not many young girls can do that". High praise from a once wonderful seamstress.
Thanks so much... I am really proud of this project, although easy, on the other hand it was challenging, I was unable to conquer the top-down method, but I was able to inject my sense of style and like the fact that I still get to crochet. The two-tone idea came from left overs from a knitting bag I did and may just sport the two pieces - now wouldn't that look cute....lol
@ Mimi- Your mother's compliment is an ultimate inspirational boost and right now it has my mind whirling about all the possibities in sewing, crocheting & knitting. Thanks so much Mrs. Mom.
@ Nettie - I was surprised at the speed in which I completed the Ballet Tee also, but with 19 year old kids and a DH that likes me to keep busy with my crafts - to avoid Honey Do Lists. Ms Gurl!! I can go all night - and go to work looking like I partied all night!!... lol
Thanks.... I'm wearing it today and it looks and feels great under my suit... talk about feeling proud. I would love to do a few more with modifications.
Hi Sheila. I didn't see an email so I'll leave post. So did you check out all the beautiful machines at http://www.knitcraft.com/silver/index.php Have you ever thought of getting a machine?
As usual, your pieces are awesome! I love that ballet top! It is adorable. I love the two-tone color in that top. Just wonderful! So, when am I going to see you in magazines?
